Data processed
Through the “Work with us” form, the following data may be collected:
- first name and surname;
- email address;
- mobile phone number;
- curriculum vitae;
- information relating to education, professional experience and skills;
- any additional information voluntarily included in the curriculum vitae.
Candidates are invited not to include information in their curriculum vitae that is irrelevant or unnecessary for the purposes of the application.
In particular, candidates are asked not to provide data belonging to special categories, such as information relating to health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs or political opinions, unless such information is relevant and necessary for the application or required by applicable law.
Purposes and legal basis
The data is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- receiving and managing the application;
- assessing the candidate’s professional profile;
- verifying the candidate’s suitability for available positions;
- contacting the candidate;
- conducting interviews and recruitment activities;
- evaluating the profile for possible future professional opportunities.
The processing is necessary in order to take steps at the candidate’s request prior to entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of EU Regulation 2016/679.
Any processing of data belonging to special categories will take place only where relevant and necessary and in the cases permitted by Article 9 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and by the applicable employment legislation.
Provision of data
Providing the data marked as mandatory in the form is necessary in order to submit the application.
Failure to provide such data will make it impossible to submit and assess the curriculum vitae.
Processing methods and recipients
The data is processed using electronic and telematic tools, with appropriate measures adopted to protect it against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or unlawful use.
Access to the data may be granted exclusively to:
- Sige S.p.A. personnel authorised to carry out recruitment activities;
- administrative or human resources personnel;
- suppliers managing the website, hosting services, email services or IT support;
- any consultants or recruitment agencies appointed to assist with personnel selection.
Where necessary, external suppliers are appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679.
The data will not be disseminated.
Retention period
The data and curriculum vitae will be retained for a maximum period of 12 months from the date on which the application is received.
After this period, the data will be deleted, unless:
- an employment relationship has been established;
- retention is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
- retention is necessary to protect a right of Sige S.p.A.;
- the candidate submits an updated curriculum vitae, in which case a new retention period will begin.
Data transfers
Where certain technical service providers process data outside the European Economic Area, any transfer will take place in compliance with Articles 44 and following of EU Regulation 2016/679 and on the basis of the safeguards required by applicable law.
Automated decision-making
Candidates are not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affect them.
Candidate’s rights
The candidate may:
- request access to their personal data;
- request its rectification or updating;
- request its deletion;
- obtain restriction of processing where applicable;
- object to the processing where applicable;
- request data portability, where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
